Main Street Lyddington

Lyddington is a small conservation village, whose history, according to English Heritage, can be traced back to the 11th century and its development and evolution since then can be seen through its charming and important collection of houses throughout the village.

This development arose from a desire to stave off the decay and dereliction to several important historic / listed buildings situated directly along Lyddington’s main street and to bring them back into use. In addition to enhancing their surroundings a small number of new houses were sympathetically designed on currently un-developed land within the grounds of the house.
