Following a very detailed pre-application stage and archaeological trial dig due to the site’s proximity to the burial site of Richard III, Staniforth Architects secured full planning consent for our client for a vibrant 500 bed student accommodation scheme.

There was close collaboration with the local authority, with strong consideration given to the urban design and context, in what is the historic heart of Leicester.

Our client ultimately sold the site to investors who went on to build the scheme in conjunction with Maber.
