Plans Submitted For Conversion & Development of Listed Buildings to Create 21 New Dwellings

Proposals to transform the grade II-listed Market Harborough office buildings into 21 dwellings have been submitted to the Local Authority for planning approval.

The former town houses, which were constructed in the 18th century, has been used by chartered surveyors since 1960.

The scheme would involve the offices being transformed into 11 one and two-bed apartments while a new rear courtyard mews development
would provide 10 new dwellings.

The proposals intend to improve and enhance the two listed buildings through conversion and new build to create high-quality inspiring town-centre residential accommodation, whilst respecting and adding to the character of the buildings and their context.

The listed buildings are at the heart of the development, with the new-build elements providing a modern, legible composition, with a simple, modern design language that gently references the heritage of the site.
